Houston, we’ve got a problem! Last I posted was back in February, of this year. A lot has happened, but I don’t really want to get into the details of why I haven’t kept up with this website like I initially wanted to. I am however, working on getting things going once again. I will say that a huge part of why I haven’t been on a computer is just pure laziness. Well, that and it’s not really the easiest taking care of multiple kids around the same age. I’m tired 90% of the time and whatever energy I have left is used on cleaning our tiny little house.
In fact, I should be doing that now. I’m pretty sure that it is not new to any of you parents out there that chores can almost seem endless. That’s how it is in our household. The chores seem to never disappear, and when you think you’ve finally cleaned every nook and cranny, it just ends up dirtier than ever in the next 5 minutes of that thought.
The image was taken of my little entryway. I have added more decor and plants next to it, but I haven’t taken a photo of it yet. I’ll probably do that next time and do some type of “decor” post. I’ve been trying to get our little house decorated. We’ve been here for almost 2 years, and I decorated, but not the way I truly wanted to. I am now over here trying to compensate for the time lost. I probably shouldn’t decorate just because we are already going to be hitting the halfway mark of this new year in no time. We are currently renting so if I heavily decorate, there’s a good chance it’ll all just have to be taken down.
Anyway, I got completely off tangent with why I’ve been M.I.A. We have family currently visiting and they have been here since the end of March. We also had planned this huge party while they were here, as well as other activities. I guess you can say my family and I are drained. It was nice being able to spend time with them, but I am extremely drained.
I’m going to cut it short here just because there’s not much for me to blog about as far as me being away. I will be posting the next several days about other events in our lives!
Thanks for taking the time to read this boring, nonsense post. I hope that the next one be much more fun and informative than this.
